Can I hook up a blu-ray player to my old tube TV?
Question:
I'm getting a Blu-Ray player.
The problem it's BEFORE i am getting an HDTV, the thing is a gift and it was not known to the person buying the device that having an HDTV would be a good idea first...
so when I spoke with some pals, it was suggested that I plug it into the XBOX360 though the
Ethernet connection. Seeing how the old tube TV doesn't have the appropriate connections for the device yet the XBOX360 does...
any tech savvy peeps here can help confirm this or deny this?
Answer:
I would suggest not buying a blu ray until you get an HDTV. It is similar to buying regular gas for a diesel vehicle. Get a car that operates on regular gas first and then regular gas. No need to have gallons of gas in a can and no car to put it into.
