How do I get my vcr to record digital channels?
Question:
I just got a new digital tv and have everything hooked up. I do not have cable or dish but I do have the converter box. Right now I can record on the vcr but only the analog channels. The channels come in as 9 for analog but 9.1 for digital. The vcr does not set for 9.1. Do I need to buy a different type of VCR? Help please!

To my knowledge, nobody ever made an digital home VCR, they are all analog. So, you have to treat it like an analog TV. That means a converter box, set the VCR for channel 3 (or the A/V inputs) and do the tuning with the converter box. The A/V inputs would probably give you better quality.
